We had a week of work in Sevierville, TN, but we also had a few days to explore the area more.
While getting ready to head out after a morning rain shower, we saw remnants of an almost full moon peaking out above the clouds. Had Susan been quicker with the camera, we would have had a better shot.
We hoped to find Fall color before we had to leave: that was our main objective. We found nice color along the roadways. It was interesting how the weather changed so quickly depending on elevation and which side of the mountain range we were traveling.
We also saw amazing vistas showing the color changes from a distance.
This picture reminds me of a crocheted afghan from the 1970's. What color!
We passed this Christmas Tree farm several times. Here you can see trees in various stages of growth.
We finished off with a selfie at the same rest stop where we took one in 2015. You can see the area was not quite as colorful this year.
