Trey and Susan Adventures

Recent rain has helped ease the drought here in western New York. We used these wet days as work days and did a few outings when the weather was clearer.

After we visited Letchfield State Park, we moved farther east and settled in Newfield, NY just outside of Itaca, NY. It is a very nice area and there are probably about a dozen state parks and state forests within an hour's drive of our campground. So far, we have visited four of them.

Our first stop in the Finger Lakes area of NY was near Letchworth State Park. The night of our arrival, we drove to the park to see the Middle Falls lit up.

We left Indiana a week ago and we have been in a whirlwind of activity.

In a risky attempt to avoid summer heat, we decided to stay in Northern Indiana for the remainder of June. We have had a few hot days, but most have been in the 80's (nice!) and the storms that have passed our way haven't been too severe. It has been a good time to catch up on work and life in the fairgrounds has something of interest each week.
