We left Texas the end of June. The new renters moved in the day before we left town and everything seems to have settled down.

Funny thing about tunnels. When you enter a long one, you know there is an exit, but sometimes you can't see it. Often, you can't even see light at the end, only darkness.

We left Utah and the last of the National Parks on our list and moved to Colorado. We found a place in along the Colorado River in Fruita just west of Junction City.

One we forgot to note in our last blog post: Upon our arrival in Moab, UT we opened the front door to find 4 pounds of sugar and a large container of oatmeal spread out over the kitchen floor - along with the strap that holds that particular cabinet shut. We did a quick clean up and saved the rest for our return from Arches National Park. I think some of the oatmeal will become a permanent part of our carpet. After vacuuming multiple times, we can still see oatmeal dust if we look carefully. We love all the little surprises this lifestyle provides!
